Our Work

Real joints. Real jobs. Up close.

No stock pools, no staging. Failed joints we were called to fix and the commercial grade sand finish mastic we replaced them with.

Before & After

The difference one day makes.

Cracked separated pool mastic joint before replacementBEFORE
Clean new grey sand finish mastic joint after replacementAFTER

Cracked & Separated → Sealed

A split, pulled away joint replaced with fresh grey sand finish mastic in a single visit.

Pool mastic joint pulling away from deck before repairBEFORE
New sand finish mastic at a three way joint after repairAFTER

Pulling Away → Protected

Water was tracking straight under the deck. Now the joint flexes and sheds water the way it should.

On The Job

Twenty seconds of the actual work.

A failed joint, the old material worked out of it, the new bead going in, and the deck it leaves behind. Shot on the job, no narration and no music.

  • 01A joint split open along the whole radius
  • 02The old material worked out by hand
  • 03Self levelling mastic laid into a clean channel
  • 04The deck it leaves behind

From Our Jobs

Same joint, start to finish.

These are our own photographs, not stock. Where we hold more than one photo of the same site we have kept them together, so you can see the sequence rather than a flattering close up.

One pool, one morning

Four photographs of the same joint between 8:27 and 12:24 on one morning. Cut out, cleaned back, rod set, sealed.

Brick coping, curve and all

The rod goes in following the curve, then the bead follows it. A curve is where a rushed joint always shows.
