Pool Mastic Pros is committed to making poolmasticpros.com accessible to people of all abilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical standard.
What We Do
- We label form fields so they work with screen readers
- We provide text alternatives for meaningful images
- We aim for readable color contrast and clear, consistent navigation
- We use proper headings and page structure
- We give moving content a way to stop it
- We announce form errors and quoted prices to screen readers
- We test the site as we make changes
How We Test
In October 2026 we audited the site against WCAG 2.1 Level AA with the axe accessibility engine on desktop and on a small phone screen, and followed it with hand testing for the things a tool cannot judge: keyboard only navigation, visible focus, page layout at 320 pixels wide, captions on video, and whether a screen reader is told when a price appears or a form rejects an entry. Everything we found, we fixed. We have not yet had a person who uses a screen reader daily go through the site, and until that happens we will not claim the site is perfect.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time task. We continue to improve the site over time, and some older content or third-party components may not yet fully conform.
